Chef Lula Martín del Campo

Lula Martín del Campo, a distinguished Mexican chef and named Chef of the Year 2024 by the Mexico Gastronomic Guide, stands out for her extensive career and commitment to promoting Mexican cuisine. Her entrepreneurial approach has made her a passionate advocate for local ingredients, supporting environmentally responsible producers.

Committed to the preservation of marine resources, Lula leads as president of the Women’s Collective of #Pescaconfuturo by Come Pesca, promoting the responsible consumption of national marine species.

Chef Lula Martín del Campo is one of the leading professionals in Mexican cuisine. A graduate in Institutional Administration from Universidad Panamericana (UP), she began her professional career in 1995 when she opened her first Italian restaurant.

Those who know her say Lula is truly “a sweetheart,” as her charisma, professionalism, and humility have opened doors for her around the world, allowing her to host colorful Mexican cuisine festivals in India, Spain, the United States, and throughout Mexico. She is also a graduate of the Mexican Cuisine Diploma from the Mexican School of Gastronomy (ESGAMEX), founded by Yuri de Gortari and Edmundo Escamilla, with whom she shares the motto “Let’s Build Our Country”.
