Chef Lupita Vidal
Lupita Vidal is a chef and culinary researcher recognized as Chef of the Year by the 2025 Guía México Gastronómico. Alongside her husband, Jesús David, she leads La Cevichería Tabasco, a space dedicated to celebrating the ingredients and culinary traditions of southeastern Mexico. She also spearheads Salón Caimito, a concept that continues to gain popularity.
She has been an active advocate for sustainable fishing and the responsible consumption of Mexican seafood, collaborating with the Pesca con Futuro collective. In 2024, she published Agua y Humo: Cocinas de Tabasco, a book that, just months after its release, was nominated for the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, strengthening her presence on the international culinary stage.
